Typhoon No. 4, named Dianmu , has escalated into a violent tropical storm. Various coastal localities in Zhejiang are taking active measures, scrutinizing situations rigorously and deploying resources to cope with the storm. According to the meteorological department in Zhoushan City, Dianmu will be moving north in neighboring waters along 125 degrees east.
Confronted with the approaching violent tropical storm, such coastal cities as Wenzhou, Taizhou and Zhoushan have sent messages or warnings, requiring that precautions be made against wind and moisture, ships in given areas return to the harbor and due attention be paid to oceanic projects and the protection against moisture in the coastal lowlands.
