More farmers will benefit from the Project of Low-Income Farmers Striving to Be Well-Off this year. The per capita annual net income of farmers in Zhejiang has exceeded 10,000 yuan, the first in all the provinces in China. However, the income gap both between farmers and among different regions is still remarkable.

It is learned from the Agriculture Office of Zhejiang Province that the per capita annual net income of 180,000 low-income farming households (or about 550,000 people) is expected to exceed 2,500 yuan at the end of this year.
