Several districts in Zhejiang Province have seen the highest temperature of this summer in the past few days, including Hangzhou with the highest temperature of 37.9 on August 1. The Provincial Meteorological Observatory has issued an orange alert of high temperature. The highest temperature in most areas of the province approximated 38 on August 1 according to the data of the provincial Meteorological Observatory. The next 5 to 7 days will see clear sky, scorching heat and scarce rainfall, with the highest temperature reaching 39 (or above in some areas).

Due to the continuity and intensity of the high temperature this time, people must take measures outdoors to prevent heatstroke, cautioned provincial meteorological experts.
