The provincial meteorological observatory has issued an orange alert of high temperature for two consecutive days and 53 cities and counties have issued pre-warning signals of high temperature.
The highest temperature in most areas in Zhejiang province reached 37 to 39 on Aug. 2nd, with some areas over 40 . According to the forecast of the provincial meteorological observatory, the next 5 to 7 days will remain sunny and extremely hot, and precautions are necessary in hot weather.
