14 provincial industrial clusters to be laid out in Zhejiang

The draft for approval of the Master Plan for the Development of Zhejiang s Clustered Industrial Zones was reviewed and agreed to in principle at the meeting held by the leading group for the planning and construction work of provincial industrial clusters on August 18.

According to the plan, 14 provincial industrial clusters will be laid out in Zhejiang. They are Hangzhou Great Jiangdong Clustered Industrial Zone, Western Hangzhou Clustered Industrial Zone of Science, Technology and Creation, Ningbo Hangzhou Bay Clustered Industrial Zone, Ningbo Meishan Clustered Industrial Zone of Logistics, Wenzhou Oujiang Estuary Clustered Industrial Zone, Huzhou Southern Tai Lake Clustered Industrial Zone, Jiaxing Clustered Industrial Zone of Modern Services, Shaoxing Coastal Clustered Industrial Zone, Jinhua Clustered Industrial Zone, Quzhou Clustered Industrial Zone, Zhoushan Clustered Industrial Zone of Marine Industry, Taizhou Bay Clustered Industrial Zone of Circular Economy, Lishui Clustered Industrial Zone of Ecology, and Yiwu Clustered Industrial Zone of Commerce, Trade and Services.

By the end of the time limit of the plan, the 14 clustered industrial zones will have been built into demonstration zones of economic transformation and upgrading and scientific development in Zhejiang and even in Yangtze River Delta.
