PATA Chairman Phornsiri Manoharn was joined by an impressive list of VIPs (see photo) for the official opening of PATA Travel Mart 2009 in Hangzhou today (Wednesday 23 September).
Distinguished guests attending the opening ceremony include James Bule, Vanuatu's Minister for Trade and Tourism, Fineasi Funaki, Minister for Tourism in Tonga and Somphong Mongkhonvilay, Minister of the Prime Minister's Office, Lao PDR.
After a tour of the World Trade Center, venue for PTM09, Chairman Phornsiri Manoharn hosted a special ministerial lunch. More than 1,000 delegates and media are attending this year's PATA Travel Mart. The show closes on Friday evening.
