On the afternoon of August 28th, local time, Zhejiang Talent Recruitment Event was held in Washington, D.C., USA.
At the Recruitment Event, leaders from relevant departments of Zhejiang introduced Zhejiang's economic and social development as well as business and innovation environment for talents, publicized Zhejiang's policies for the absorption of high-level overseas talents, and presented more than 600 demands for talents and science and technology projects. Of the nearly 200 high-level overseas talents attending the Recruitment Event, 70% expressed willingness to start business back in China.
It is learned that doctors, post-doctors, and professors accounted for 70% of the overseas talents attending this Recruitment Event.
