A survey to judge the best international image of Chinese cities was released in Shanghai on August 30th. Among all the 30 cities that were tested, the top 10 cities won the title of Best International Image of Chinese Cities (Mainland) . Hangzhou and Ningbo of Zhejiang Province were ranked the 5th and the 6th respectively, sharing the honor with 8 other cities: Shanghai, Beijing, Chengdu, Nanjing, Xi an, Changsha, Kunming and Changchun.
This survey was co-conducted by Gallup Consulting China among foreigners living in the Chinese mainland and abroad. A total of 7980 foreigners from more than 100 countries took part in the survey, including those working for foreign representative offices or companies in China and those who have been to China.
