Co-sponsored by the Ministry of Housing and Urban-Rural Development, the Shanghai World Expo Executive Committee, UN-HABITAT, and Hangzhou Municipal Government, Shanghai World Expo Theme Forum on "Harmonious Cities and Livable Life" opened on the morning of Oct. 6 in beautiful Hangzhou. Nearly 800 people, including home and overseas experts, scholars and government officials in fields of urban planning, urban ecological economy and urban management, attended the forum.
