On the morning of October 21st, the 16th China Yiwu International Commodities Fair and the 3rd African Commodities Exhibition was opened in Yiwu.
Yiwu International Commodities Fair, with a theme of Global Sourcing, Yiwu Wind , offers up to 5,000 booths and attracts 2618 enterprises. Enterprises from 44 countries and regions have formed groups to participate in the exhibition, of which the number of foreign group participants ranks the top of all the Yiwu International Commodities Fairs, and there are more than 18,000 foreign buyers as well as 120,000 professional businessmen.
With a purpose of Facing the World, Serving the Nation , Yiwu International Commodities Fair has become the largest, the most influential and the most effective consumer products exhibition in China, a wind vane of world commodity trade, and the third largest trade exhibition in China, right after the Canton Fair and the East China Fair.
In order to carry on the spirit of the Forum of China and Africa Cooperation and strengthen the economic and trade cooperation between China and Africa, the Ministry of Commerce decided to hold the 3rd African Commodities Exhibition during Yiwu International Commodities Fair. 218 booths have been arranged in the exhibition and enterprises from 29 African countries and regions have taken part.
