Traffic jam has become a common problem in a lot of cities. Hangzhou is always thinking of ways to relieve congestion and to improve especially public transport. Recently, three plans on public transport were under public announcement on the first floor of Hangzhou Urban Planning Bureau till Jan 7 next year.
According to the plans, the construction of exclusive bus lanes and express public transport will be strengthened in the next five to ten years. At that time, the length of exclusive bus lane will be 12 times of that today, with 30% increase of running speed for ground transport. The express buses will go up from B1, B2 and B3 now to B18.
