The capacity enhancement project (Wenzhou) of Jinhua-Wenzhou Railway started building at the town of Zheyang, Ouhai District on the morning of Dec, 8.
The capacity enhancement project of Jinhua-Wenzhou Railway is the national key construction project and one of the key construction projects of seven lines and two transit networks of Zhejiang Province. After the completion of the capacity enhancement project, Jinhua-Wenzhou Railway will run along the new route, which originates from the South Railway Station of Jinhua in the west to the South Railway Station of Wenzhou in the east, with a length of 188.3 kilometers and the designed speed of 200 kilometers per hour. The total investment of the project costs 17.97 billion yuan.
