On December 3, 2010 the director Wang Shouwen, the Foreign Trade Department in Ministry of Commerce, and his research team went to Baigou Luggage and Bags Trade Market in Hebei province for the market survey there. Officials from Hebei provincial government, Baoding municipal government and market managing committee took part in the investigation.
Director Wang collected more information on foreign trade during the market survey personally, and said Baigou has achived a remarkable progress on leather goods market building and laid a foundation on foreign trade expansion.
Wang pointed out that the leather goods industry should base on e-commerce to expand foreign trade and make more efforts on brand creation and technical research.
Wang encouraged the market to take advantage of Canton Trade Fair to promote their industry and expressed his supporting on the building of the design center and the program of brand creation.
