Germany imports half of leather goods from China

Federal Statistical Office in Germany released on December 14, 2010 that leather goods increased 1.3% in exports and 7.5% surged in imports for the first nine months. China is main sourcing country for Germany on imports of leather goods and leather garments.

According to Federal Statistical Office in Germany among the imports of Euro 1.8 billion, and nearly half of them came from China, 11% imported from India and 6.6% sourced in Italy, for the exports of same products in Germany they mainly went to Austria, France, Switzerland and China.
