Leather shoes to EU are at a standstill as anti-dumping

Write: Sexton [2011-05-20]
According to CLIA footwear office released news, the expired date of EU anti-dumping on Chinese and Vietnam leather shoes will come at the end of March 2011, according to the regulations the appeal of sunset review should be put forward before the end of this month. Currently there is no sign to show the end of EU anti-dumping on Chinese and Vietnamese leather shoes that had been imposed since October 2006.
The main shoe producers in Italy and Spain are possible to propose the sunset review to EU Commission, and if their claim successful the anti-dumping on leather shoe will continue to extend.
EU anti-dumping on leather shoes from China has caused severe damage to shoe exports, the growth rate in shoe exports to EU had dropped to zero in 2009.
