Footwear Cooperative Alliance established in Wenzhou

The first Chinese Footwear Cooperative Alliance found in Wenzhou, the shoe capital of China, on December 16, 2010.

The alliance jointly launched by Aokang Group and more than 50 professional shoe markets aims at building an industrial and trading chain operation mode on footwear sale like retailers of Gome and Suning in household appliances.

Aokang Group said the alliance calls on the overall cooperation between shoemakers and sale departments to create a franchise store brand for footwear sale, adding that further cooperation will be discussed on investment to build the franchise stores.

Wenzhou is known for shoemaking industry and entitled as Shoe Capital of China, as market becomes more and more intensive for competition Wenzhou shoe producers hope to create a new outlet channel and call on all the shoemakers to join together on building of the franchise store.
