A trade group from Henan province, mainland China, came to Taichung City and met with Taiwan Footwear Manufacturers Association on afternoon of December 16.
With the guidance of Taiwan Footwear Manufacturers Association the mainland visitors came to Taiwan footwear culture corridor and high-tech products showing room for visiting. The delegates were impressed by the high-tech employed in shoemaking industry in Taiwan and praised the remarkable achievements and contributions made by Taiwanese to the world footwear industry.
The head of delegate Zhang Luihua made introduction on their economic development and advantages on development of footwear industry to Taiwanese counterparts during the meeting with Taiwan Footwear Manufacturers Association, Zhang said there are huge potential for Ruzhou city and Taichung city to cooperate on shoemaking, and expressed his wishing to Taiwanese counterparts for visiting Ruzhou and investment in Ruzhou.
Taiwan Footwear Manufacturers Association responded to Zhang and said they should continue to make more efforts to boost the cooperation on shoemaking development between Taiwan and mainland China, and encouraged more Taiwanese shoemakers to develop their business in Ruzhou city.
Other issues like expansion market in mainland China, personal training program and so on were discussed on bilateral meeting.
