361 Degrees pre-orders jump 23% YoY for fall of 2011

Fujian-based sports retailer 361 Degrees International (1361.HK) booked a 23% y-o-y rise its autumn 2011 collection pre-orders value, jrj.com reported December 22. The company recorded 10% y-o-y growth in the volume of apparel ordered and 8% y-o-y growth in footwear by volume, the report said. Average selling price (ASP) of apparel rose 13% y-o-y while footwear ASP rose 12% y-o-y.

The company reduced the discounts it offers to distributors by 2 percentage points for its autumn 2011 pre-sales, the report said.

361 Degrees had 7,100 retail outlets by the end of November, 70% of which in third-tier or even smaller cities, according to a separate report published by Sina.

361 Degrees recorded same store sales growth of 16.2% y-o-y in the third quarter of this year.
