Wenzhou Bureau of Inspection and Quarantine said on a recent technical seminar for safety shoes certificate that exports on safety shoes rose 85% year on year to US$ 206 million in the first 10 months of this year, setting a highest record in value.
Currently there are more than 50 safety shoe producers in Wenzhou city, products made here sell to over 120 countries and regions.
Demand increased in safety shoes has proved the rebound of global economy, and the safety shoes made in Wenzhou are exported to 26 EU nations as improvement on quality and designing style.
