Guangdong, Fujian and Zhejiang produce 80% of national leather shoes

Production of leather shoe in three provinces of Guangdong, Fujian and Zhejiang remains the top three in 2010, particularly for Fujian province the production surged at high speed.

Guangdong produced 29% of national total leather shoe, with an increase of 12.4% over the previous year, Fujian province shared 27.3% of total production in leather shoe, up 27.9% year on year, Zhejiang accounted for 26%, posting a growth of 12.1% in 2010.

Leather shoe production in 2010 saw a dramatic growth in western areas and Shandong province, Shandong took up 3.9% of national leather shoe production, up 37.8% over the earlier year, Jiangxi province made up 2.5%and grew by 39.5%; Henan province represented 1.9% with growth of 90.1%, Hunan gained 1.7% of shares, Chongqing shared 1%. In western areas like Anhui province, Hubei, Shanxi and Heilongjiang the production also showed a big increasing in growth rate.
