Sri Lanka gets Indian assistance for footwear industry

Ministry of Industry and Commerce issuing a statement has said that India High Commissioner Ashok K.Kantha has agreed to extend assistance for footwear industry on a request made by Minister Rishard Bathiudeen. The minister has made the request when he addressed the fourth Indian leather Buyer-Seller Meet held in Colombo. He has also requested for assistance in training and developing skills of Sri Lankan leather products manufacturers.
