Russia raises export tax on leather and semi-finished leather

Russian Government issued Resolution to increase export tariffs on leather and semi-finished leather, this was reported on Russia's economy and lifestyle website On March 21, 2011.

The new tariffs, which went into effect in mid-April, increased the tax on leather and semi-finished leather exports by 10% except the members of a customs union agreement, anyhow the tariff should not be lower than Euro 250 for per ton of leather.
