The inspection of leather goods quality for 2010 was conducted by Guangdong Quality Inspection and Supervision Bureau, the samplings came from 105 leather goods factories in the 8 cities like Guangzhou, Shenzhen, Foshan, etc.. The testing result showed 77% of them complying with standards, the main issues of those unqualified products were failing on seam strength.
The main reasons leading to poor quality products are bad quality of fabric and seam used in production by the companies, and inappropriate technologies employed during the production.
The poor quality products have been dealt with by Guangdong Quality Inspection and Supervision Bureau in accordance with the provisions of relevant regulations.
