NDRC:Crack Down on Price Monopoly Behaviors

The National Development and Reform Commission (NRDC) said on the 23rd that the Price Department would focus its efforts next year on regulating agricultural product prices, as well as strengthen regulation of medicine prices, educational fees and other prices related to people s livelihoods. The NDRC will also vigorously promote anti-price monopoly efforts in order to safeguard normal price order.

The NDRC said it would focus next year on reorganizing distribution and price order of cooking oil, cotton, vegetables and agricultural capital. It will also regulate the standard agricultural product electronic trading market, deal with malicious speculation, price collusion, driving up prices and other illegal actions; finally, it will also curb excessive speculation.
