Crude oil prices closed higher Friday, gaining 14 cents to close at $91.54 per barrel on the New York Mercantile Exchange.
Other energy commodities followed oils lead, with natural gas, gasoline and home heating oil all finishing the week in positive territory.
Natural gas finished up 8 cents, closing Friday's session at $4.488 per million British thermal units. Gasoline closed up a nickel at $2.49 a gallon. Home heating oil closed at $2.64 a gallon, up 3 cents.
At the pump, the national average price of unleaded gasoline, at $3.095 per gallon, was unchanged from Thursday, AAA said.
