The International Workshop: Application of Vacuum Technologies for photovoltaic systems, flat panels and solid-state lighting (AVT2010), sponsored by the Shanghai Vacuum Society, Website Chinesevacuum and the German Vacuum Society, will be held in Shanghai, China, from August 29-31, 2010. The workshop will focus on the application of vacuum technologies for optoelectronic materials and devices, including flat panel display, solid state lighting and solar cells (Silicon, CIGS and OPV).
The workshop is intended to encourage cooperation among scientists and engineers from industry and academy in the world, and push forward the academic research industrial applications.
Prospective authors are invited to submit a less than 6-page paper or tutorial overview on topics including but not limited to: (1) Application of Vacuum Technology in Flat Panel Display (LCD, FED, OLEDs); (2) Application of Vacuum Technology in Solid State Lighting; (3) Application of Vacuum Technology in Solar cells (Silicon, CIGS and OPV).
Peer reviewed papers will be published in Journal of Vacuum Science and Technology (China) or Vacuum (China). Only electronic submissions will be accepted via the Web at http://www.AVT2010.com/ or email: AVT2010@126.com At least one author of each paper should register for the workshop by 1 July 2010 for papers to be included in the program. The paper will be judged based on both content and presence. Social Activities: Besides the technical program, the entertaining program is visiting Shanghai Expo 2010.
