China aims to cut energy use and carbon emissions per unit of industrial value-added output this year by 4 percent from a year earlier, Xinhua News Agency reported, citing Zhou Changyi, an official from the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology.
Water use per unit of output will be reduced by 7 percent this year, Xinhua cited Zhou as saying.
