China Sunergy Co., a Chinese maker of solar products, rose the most in eight months after reporting earnings that exceeded estimates.
The company climbed as much as 12 percent, the most since July 21, to $4.43 in Nasdaq Stock Market trading. At 11:27 a.m. it was trading at $4.36, up 10 percent.
China Sunergy reported today earnings of 37 cents an American depositary receipt, compared to expectations of 34 cents, the average of four estimates compiled by Bloomberg.
