China saw its crude oil output climb 5.3% year on year to 15.91 million metric tons in February this year, according to the latest statistics figures from the National Bureau of Statistics.
In the first two months of this year, China's crude oil output increased 5.5% year on year to 33.72 million metric tons.
Last month, China's crude oil processing volume hit a record 35.2 million metric tons, 11% more than in the same month of last year.
In February, China produced 6.34 million metric tons of gasoline, 9.9% more than in the corresponding period of 2010.
The country's output of diesel and fuel oil were 1.34 million metric tons and 1.78 million metric tons, up 14.4% and 24.7% year on year, respectively.
