China Longyuan Power Group Corp Ltd<0916>, which is mainly engaged in the design, development, construction, management and operation of wind farms, yesterday announced that it generated 1.75 terawatt hours of power in February, 18.79% more than it realized in the same month of 2010.
Of the total electricity output, wind power output surged 43.83% year on year, thermal power output declined 5.62% year on year and the output of other renewable energy increased 37.54% from a year earlier, said the company.
As of Feb. 28, the Hong Kong-listed firm saw its total electricity output reach 4.12 TWhs, 18.9% more than the same period of last year, of which wind power output surged 42.97% year on year, thermal power output dropped 1.96% year on year, while the output of other renewable energy jumped 90.3% year on year.
