China plans to build a hydropower dam downstream of Qian River in the region of Guangxi, with designed installed capacity of 1.6 million kilowatts, the National Development and Reform Commission said today.
The investment of the project is about 28 billion yuan based on an estimate in 2009, the commission said in a statement posted on its website.
