Foreign Air Carriers to Raise Fuel Surcharges

Qatar airways, Asiana Airlines and Vietnam Airlines have announced that from April 1, they will raise fuel surcharges for international flights originating from China, according to Ctrip.com.
Qatar airways will raise its fuel surcharge to RMB 489 for flights from China mainland to Qatar and RMB 390 for flights from Hong Kong to Qatar.
Asiana Airlines will raise its fuel surcharge by RMB 50 for flights from China to South Korea, Japan, Southeast Asia, Central Asia, and Saipan and by RMB 100 for flights from China to Americas, Europe and Australia.
Vietnam Airlines will raise its fuel surcharge from USD35 to USD40 for flights from Guangzhou to Hanoi and Ho Chi Minh.
