Guangzhou s traffic authorities announced on April 4 a plan to increase the services of 33 bus routes, including Bus Nos. B3, 297, 886 and 244, on Dongfeng Road, Jiefang Road and Airport Road during peak hours (7:30-8:30 AM and 5:00-7:00PM). These buses will take shortcuts and make quick transfers to ease traffic congestions, and additional buses will be deployed to the Heping Xincun Station, West Dongfeng Station, and Xinshixu Station to divert passenger flows.
The results of these moves will be evaluated in coming months and implemented on Guangzhou Avenue, Huanshi Road and other thoroughfares as well. |
