Guangzhou, capital of China's southern Guangdong Province, saw the number of real estate companies rise 707 units, or more than 100% in the first four months this year, according to the statistics released by Guangzhou Administration of Industry and Commerce recently.
As of the end of April, the total number of Guangzhou's real estate companies was 10,668, including 10,123 domestic private-owned companies and 545 foreign-funded companies, with registered capital of RMB 607.96 billion and RMB 968.63 billion in total, respectively.
