A new park, featuring a 14.3-kilometer-long narrow stretch of greenery lining Guangzhou Avenue, has been opened to the public after more than a year of construction. The meticulously landscaped park, featuring lush foliage, will offer a new venue of leisure for local residents.
The park has been built using gardening techniques typical of the Lingnan region. It's a perfect fusion of leisure, transport, and aesthetics, turning the avenue into a virtual garden. Following the landscaping project, Guangzhou Avenue has more convenient sidewalks and bicycle lanes, as well as wheelchair-accessible paths.
