Guangzhou new TV Tower (Guangzhou Daily)
After five years of intensive work, Guangzhou's new iconic tower is finally expected to open before the end of the summer. Located besides the Pearl River, the tower is the central piece of the Zhujiang New Town axis and shall, without doubt, become an important landmark and tourist attraction.
The 610-meter high structure hosts a variety services including an amusement center, an open-air teahouse, a revolving restaurant and of course the sightseeing decks on the top platform. Finally, an unusual ferris wheel circumventing the platform will offer tourists a panoramic tour of the city during a 20-minute ride.
However, ticket prices still haven't been announced. According to previous reports, access to the tower shall cost at least 100 RMB but additional activities will push up the price to between 160 to 200 RMB.
