The Guangzhou Municipal Government will allot a record RMB 20 million from the city coffers to subsidize the city's LED industry, announced the city's Economic and Trade Committee.
To date, approximately 8,000 LED lamps have been installed at more than 40 main roads across the city, with another 40,000 to be up and running ahead of the Asian Games, bringing the number of LED street lamps to 50,000.
