PV Guangzhou 2010 - Solar Energy Show in Guangzhou

The 2nd Guangzhou International Solar PV Exhibition (PV Guangzhou 2010) will be held in China Import & Export Fair Pazhou Complex from 26 to 28 August, 2010.
The Guangzhou International Solar PV Exhibition is the annual industry event for global PV companies enterprises to display, to trade and to network in the South China.
Global PV systems installed capacity is forecast to grow up to 13.6GW, demonstrating a 92.9% increase, while China will achieve a 29% increase in market share.
Guangdong is one of the most developed regions and solar energy resources are relatively rich. Through government policy support, the solar photovoltaic industry in Guangdong province will continue to develop. Wang Yang, CPC Central Committee, secretary of the Guangdong Provincial, when attending the first energy forum, pointed that we need to vigorously develop solar energy and other new energy to ensure economic growth in Guangdong province. For this, Guangdong provincial government put forward to accelerate the cultivation and development of new industries; make and carry out the strategic development plan of new industries, establish the strategic new industries technical standard system, so that to cultivate and develop Solar PV. Through the organizing committee of PV Guangzhou 2010 actively seek, the exhibitors of PV Guangzhou 2010 will be given about 80% of the exhibition fee subsidies.
Leading solar companies such as Suntech, Yingli, Lingyang, LDK, Trina, Schneider, CSG, Xinyiglass, Golden Glass, Topray, BP Solar have been invited to attend the exhibition. As of 1 July, 2010, 156 companies had registered to attend this exhibition. Exhibits include the latest global solar PV power generation system, solar cells, solar modules, solar production equipment; solar photovoltaic materials, batteries, building photovoltaic systems, photovoltaic glass, solar photovoltaic application products and related matching products, etc.
