Guangzou T.I.T Creative Park was renovated from Guangzhou Textile Machinery Factory which was established in 1952.
Guangzhou T.I.T Creative Park officially opened on August 6 after two-year reconstruction.
Located in No.397 Xingang Zhonglu in Haizhu District, T.I.T Creative Park stands at the New Urban Central Axis of Guangzhou, neighboring the new TV tower and the consulate district. The space was used to be occupied by Guangzhou Textile Machinery Factory, which was established in 1952 and shut down in 2007 after more than 50 years of production.
Later, Guangzhou Textile Industry & Trade Holdings Ltd. and Dealskey Investment Company cooperated to reconstruct the factory in order to build a textile and apparel creative center combining design and R&D, fashion trend release and brands promotion with the principle of respecting the former architectural features.
The park covers an area of 100,000 square meters with a total construction area of about 40,000 square meters. The total investment of the park is over RMB 100 million yuan.
Several large-scale activities had been held in the park before its opening such as Guangdong Fashion Week, Jeanswest Design Competition, Guangdong Lions Club and Summer Fair of MenEyAn Brand.
