A trial run of quarantine and customs clearance of horses to participate in the 16th Asian Games equestrian events was held at Guangzhou Baiyun International Airport on August 5.
During the Asian Games, Guangzhou will witness the first international equestrian competition on the Chinese Mainland. About 180 horses from over 20 countries and regions will take part and most of them will enter Mainland China through Baiyun Airport.
A second trial run will take place in mid September when Guangzhou holds an equestrian test event for the Games.
