The Guangfo metro line connecting downtown Foshan with Guangzhou's metro network is to open to the public before the Asian Games commence in November. This shall allow citizens in both cities to attend the sporting events, including synchronized swimming and boxing which shall take place in Foshan.
Ticket prices are expected to be similar to those on Guangzhou's metro network and therefore significantly cheaper than the coaches currently commuting between the two cities.
