Taiwan fruit (Guangzhou Daily)
The 18th Guangzhou Fair, an annual trade expo organized by the Guangzhou government and the China Foreign Trade Center since 1993, opened at 9am on August 26th and shall last until the 29th. The main venue is located at the Pazhou Convention and Exhibition Center. This year's fair shall focus on agricultural products and foodstuff produced by some of Guangzhou's sister cities. Products from Taiwan are attracting lots of attention with famous products such as Dongding Oolong Tea, Kaoliang Spirit and snacks. Many famous Cantonese brands (Pan Tang, Baoshengyuan, Linnan) are also being presented.
As for the Poly World Trade Center, located beside the Pazhou complex, it shall host the GTI Asia China Expo 2010. Tickets to both events are free but participants need to present their ID card to gain access to the halls. The 2010 Guangzhou Fair will last till August 29th.
