Guangfo Metro will start operating on October 3rd 2010 although an agreement on the ticket prices still hasn't been found. Five trains are currently undergoing intensive tests. Capable of carrying 900 people each, they shall run every 9 minutes at speeds of up to 80km/h and shall connect with Guangzhou metro line 1.
According to the metro operator; 16,000 free tickets will be given out to citizens. By the end of 2013, the second part of the Guangfo Line will open, connecting with Line2, Line3 and Line8.
