A new tourism attraction is to soon open in Huangpu District which shall focus on south China's unique water culture. After one year of construction, a vast new green space called Nanwanchong ( ) is to open to the public, designed as a comprehensive conservancy project functioning as flood control and drainage system, and boasting vast green spaces for the pleasure of local residents. Nanwan Village is located next to the site, and the 600 year-old village still possesses many beautiful traditional buildings which can be visited.
