Two greenways in Huadu District are scheduled to open next week. Delegated by the Huadu government, the greenways are to be operated by Guangdong South Lake International Travel Service, and provide visitors access to the beautiful scenery of Huadu.
The greenways include the No.2 and No.4 Roads of Guangdong. The No.2 Road, which stretches 28 km in Huadu, connects Tianmahe Park and Baiyun District, while the 15-km-long No.4 Road links Liuxihe Forest Park in Conghua District and Xunliao Bay in Huizhou. Significant places of interest in Huadu such as the formal residence of Hong Xiuquan, the Furongzhang Reservoir, Hwaeomsa Temple and the Yuanxuan Taoist Temple are located near the greenways, making them popular places for wedding photos.
Visitors can hike free of charge along the greenways on foot or by private bicycle. Taxis and bicycles for rent are also available.
