To capitalize on the investment boom in rail transit in China, ABB (Asea Brown Boveri Ltd), is one of the Fortune 500 corporations which was announced on Dec. 12th, that it was planning to establish a traction-equipment company in Guangzhou. The company, as an ABB representative claimed, will provide light-rail traction equipments to its clients. It will also be engaged in research and development, manufacturing and engineering services.
