The first meeting the APEC Business Advisory Council (ABAC) in 2011 will be held in Guangzhou from February 14 to 18.
The meeting, the first large-scale international business event in Guangzhou since the Asian Games, is organized by the China Trade Promotion Council and staged by the Guangdong Trade Promotion Council. It is expected to attract approximately 800 ABAC delegates and representatives of local governments and enterprises.
The Asia-Pacific Service Industry Convention and the Roundtable of Guangzhou Mayor and Asia-Pacific Region Business Leaders will be held to coincide with the ABAC meeting. At the convention, 39 investment projects in Guangzhou's service industry will be promoted, and local government officials will seek further investment from Fortune 500 companies.
