The Hesheng Zhujiang International Tower, a 45-storey high-rise building on Yuehua Road, has been completed on Guangzhou's old central axis.
The building was named a "base for the development of the headquarters-related economy" by the Yuexiu District Government last week, making it the sixth such base in the district after the Telecom Building, the Yuexiu Urban Plaza, the China International, the Tianlun Building, and the Time Property Center. The project is another major move for Yuexiu District to speed up the development of its core zone for the modern service industry.
The Hesheng Zhujiang International Tower has attracted many big-name companies, including Watsons, the Etime Law Firm, Guangzhou Restaurant, and Pacific Insurance.
The "clustering effects" of high-grade office buildings are expected to inject fresh vitality into Yuexiu District's headquarters-related economy.
At present, Yuexiu is home to 339 corporate headquarters.
