It is learnt from the Baiyun District People's Congress and People's Political Consultative Conference that there are 98 keys projects of district level during the "twelfth five-year plan" period, involving an investment volume of 228.9 billion yuan.
During the "twelfth five-year plan" period, Baiyun District will undertake the "three olds" regeneration project of Sanyuanli Village and will plan to launch the projects in the villages of Xiaogang, Jiangxia, Tangxia, Shafeng, Lianbian and Chentian.
The Sanyuanli Commercial Mansion is the focal point of the project in this urban village. It is located at the financing land and covers an area of 200,000 m2. Its construction area is 270,000 m2 and the construction cost is estimated to reach 2.7 billion yuan.
Baiyun District will also make a huge investment of 5 billion yuan in the remediation of Shijing River. 19 km along the river will be covered by the project. Land acquisition and resettlement will be finished before 2015. More than 1.8 million square meters of land will be expropriated for the construction of 1.25 million square meters of new buildings, parks and roads.
