China Unicom 3G business revenue reached 115.9 billion yuan in 2010

China Unicom (microblog) yesterday announced the 2010 full-year earnings. The data showed that the company's 3G service revenue had reached 115.9 billion yuan, the average quarterly qoq growth rate is 40.2%.

3G users's cumulative net increase achieved 11.318 million, total to 14.06 million, of which, the mobile phone users accounted for 90.4% , the average revenue per user (APRU) was 124 yuan.

In the past year, the company actively changed the development mode of GSM, and promoted the integrated business, so the GSM annual revenue has reached 70.77 billion yuan, up by 2.6%, GSM users increased 8.521 million, total to 153.366 million, up by 5.9%, the average revenue per user (ARPU) was 39.5 million.

Fixed-line business achieved 78.7 billion yuan revenue last year, down by 0.4%. It is noteworthy that the revenue scale of voice services is the first time more than non-voice services, and accounted for 55.2% of fixed-line total revenue, up by 7.1%. (by Nye Sha)
